  1. Great! I’ll try for sure because I’d like to see that too. Thank you for your feedback.
  2. Help: you can read help from here until I fix the issue I was about to reply regarding reseting preferences… Let me know if you need any help.
  3. Version 1.5 is out: The initial text selection is optional When the new text is ready the workflow will select it Alleyoop 2 support See initial post for details.
  4. I did a quick run and so far I have only one word: impressive. I kind of use the same menu items in some applications and sometimes I don’t remember the hotkey or I don’t want to set up a hotkey. Now this leads to my suggestion: add favorites/history menu items per application. For example: I’m in Byword and instead of search for the menu item I would bring Alfred and type mf or mh and get a list of favorites or last used menu items for Byword. Well, at least you could consider for Menu Search 2.0 Anyway, thank you for this great version.
  5. Hi David. Don’t you mean tell Alfred to search? tell application "Alfred 2" to search "<your text here>"
  6. Version 2.0 is out: Multiple tags: separate them by comma e.g. tag1,tag2,tag3 Projects from Things, OmniFocus and The Hit List will also be listed See initial post for details.
  7. Thank you. Support for external projects is also coming soon.
  8. I’ll see what I can do about the way you use most. You say “not automate” or do you wish the workflow to select all text for you? Right now the workflow consider two things: the user may want to edit part of a text and may want to paste back part of the new text. However, as I said, I’ll see what can be done because I have already need something like that.
  9. Done. Version 1.5 The favorite will be opened in a new tab when it is possible Added favorite details such as protocol, user name, address, remote path and port Searching: favorite name and other properties
  10. Great to hear! Multiple tags feature is in my to do list. Thank you for your feedback.
  11. Version 3.0 is out: Create a new file in Finder (hold control key) Optionally add a file extension (see Help for details) See initial post for details.
  12. Version 1.5 Tags and projects read from MailTags database (thanks to Scott)
  13. I use to add “as text” explicitly, just in case (some workflows don’t work as expected without it): Set myVar to “{query}” as text
  14. This is one of my favorites workflows and I think Pedro knows it. I had some issues too but I changed some lines of the script and got it working here. I wrote Pedro about it.
  15. Hi, Note that the version I have tweaked will overwrite yours: download I tried to explain almost each line of the script. If you have any questions let me know.
  16. Default Folder Goal Set a default folder for each application. This feature is also part of the Recent Items 3.0 workflow. Both can be used together. Usage When you are prompted with an open/save dialog (e.g. while saving a file in TextEdit) bring Alfred and type deff keyword (or hit the workflow hotkey) If the application already has a default folder the open/save dialog path with be set to it; if not, you will be able to select a default folder for the application within Alfred Changing the default folder for an application If you need to change the default folder for an application, while in open/save dialog of the application type defs keyword, select a folder and hit return key. Use a folder path without saving it as default Bring Alfred and type the keyword defs. Once you found the folder, highlight it, hold fn key and hit return. The folder path will be passed to the open/save dialog without saving it as a default for the application. Download Version 1.0 Release date: 13 Apr 2013 Supports Alleyoop 2 Download Now
  17. OK. You would like to find a Favorite based on other properties rather than only its name. I think it’s possible.
  18. Version 1.2 is out with Tickle support See initial post for details.
  19. The workflow lists Transmit Favorites as well and it can also only open a Transmit Favorite. Is there any thing else the mentioned workflow does? The symbol was added just to prevent the user from using that Script Filter (that is used for File Action internally).
  20. Thank you for your kindness but it is not necessary. Maybe something for MailTags 4.
  21. Transmit: Upload + URL to the clipboard Usage select a file in Finder bring Alfred and type the keyword tup select a Transmit favorite and hit return key You can also use Alfred File Action to upload a file with Transmit. After selecting a file you will be prompted, within Alfred, to select a Transmit Favorite. You can also open a Favorite in Transmit by holding fn key. Note that you can search a Transmit favorite considering not only the its name but also its properties such as protocol, user name, address, remote path and port. URL to the clipboard After the upload is finished, the file URL will be copied to the clipboard. Note that the URL will depend on your Transmit Favorite Root URL setting. What’s new 1.5 The favorite will be opened in a new tab when it is possible Added favorite details such as protocol, user name, address, remote path and port Searching: favorite name and other properties Download Version 1.5 Release date: 14 Apr 2013 Requirement: Transmit 4.3.3 Supports Alleyoop 2 Download Now
  22. Great to hear! Hi Scott Nice surprise! I bought MailTags yesterday due the workflow (although MailTags was in my purchase list for some time) and I’m still learning what it can do. I own OmniFocus and I see a “OmniFocusProjects.plist”. The other two are “ThingsProjects.plist” and “theHitlistProjects.plist”? By the way, I couldn’t find a list of all tags used in MailTags, only preferred. Did I miss something? I’ll try Tickle dates for sure. You can list the workflow, no problem at all. Do you have an email so I can eventually contact you privately?
