This is something I have actually tried. However, most of the items didn't appear in the clipboard history. Apparently, the items have to remain in the clipboard for a while for Alfred to capture them. It works if I add a 1 second delay between the pbcopy-operations, but of course this way it takes ample time to populate the clipboard history.

Confirmed by email that 4.6.6 b1300 fixes the behaviour, which was essentially a regression caused by this fix:
