  1. The screenshot indicates an error while processing the list. I can’t reproduce it here though. However, the build below tries to isolate the error. In addition, before installing the new build: make sure you are using Alfred 2.3 or later go to Alfred Preferences and delete the workflow restart Evernote app and make it synchronize download and install the new workflow version: link make some tests If you see an error please let me know what it was and give me a step by step so I can try to replicate it. In addition, does the keywords ent and ens work for you? Finally, set Automatic in the workflow preferences (keyword enpref) if you’d like searching always with a wildcard or place an asterisk at the end of your query e.g. ens el*
  2. Can you please test the build below? Thank you. Download Evernote 8.61
  3. Thank you. It seems that an alias is not necessary after all. This seems to be working fine: run script “errortest.scpt" This is the first time I’m taking a close look on how I can call an AppleScript from a Run Script object since Alfred added osascript support directly.
  4. Thank you! Please, make sure to install Evernote app from evernote.com and not from Mac App Store.
  5. I think you will have to update to also support Mavericks. Great idea though.
  6. I would like to understand why the following error is happening. In resume, in a Run Script object (osascript) if I use the code below Alfred does not show any error in debugging mode: run script (POSIX file ((do shell script "pwd") & "/errortest.scpt")) However , if I use the code below (see also the screenshot) although the script works Alfred shows an error in debugging mode: run script POSIX file "errortest.scpt" Here is the error: [ERROR: alfred.workflow.action.script] Code 0: 2014-05-08 13:15:12.019 osascript[9726:303] CFURLGetFSRef was passed this URL which has no scheme (the URL may not work with other CFURL routines): errortest.scpt Finally, here is a test workflow: download
  7. Alfred 2.3 + OSX 10.9.2 + f.lux 30.1: the workflow seems to be working fine.
  8. Maybe I’m being too, way too picky but I kind of don’t like when Alfred rename the icons I drop in a e.g. File Action. I ended up with a folder like this: Not only the names don’t represent the icons themselves but the workflow ended up with duplicates (or even more). Please, consider make Alfred accept the original name of the icon and if it already exists then use the one that is already there. I hope is not the icon that creates the ID for the entire workflow element.
  9. Evernote workflow reaches Evernote App Center! Who’s gonna nominate it?
  10. Recent Downloads (from User Downloads folder) and up to two custom categories are coming in the next version: I should be ready in a couple of days. Thank you all for the feedback!
  11. I’m using your approach in one of my workflows setup that require two steps for each custom item available and I really think the setup is now easier to understand and even more flexible. Thank you again for sharing it with us.
  12. I don’t think there is a Powerpack trial but taking a look at workflows may give you a good idea about Powerpack and how much it may be useful. For me, Alfred 2 + Powerpack is probably the most used app in my Macs: - Evernote - Pinboard - to-dos - Philips Hue - Markdown tools - screenshots - view hidden files - iTunes interaction - and so on...
  13. Please, let me know your step by step... Here’s mine: 1. I start a new email in Mail app 2. then I show Alfred and type editwith keyword 3. since I have already used a text editor I click Select the Last Used Text Editor 4. then I open my text editor (Byword) 5. I type the email content and when I finish it I show Alfred and type the keyword pasteback 6. done Note that after triggering the keywords give some time (e.g. no keyboard or mouse action) so the workflow can finish its action.
  14. So if a return is implemented then any workflow could build its own dictionary/library or you could make a huge library workflow just to make things easier for other workflows.
  15. Interesting approach. Right now, to avoid useless keywords in multiple steps workflows, I use an icon or an unique character plus the text. Here is an example from Evernote workflow: I’ll have to play more with the external trigger.
  16. I think it is a way to make an external application (like Hazel) to interact with a workflow directly, without showing Alfred and without clutter the user interface with unnecessary keywords (an external keyword is only for that). Anyway, I’m still learning about it and its advantages.
  17. The one case I have used (with Hazel) I was able to call a workflow script without showing Alfred at all.
  18. You’re right. Fixed. Thank you very much! Download Evernote 8.6
  19. MacVim requires an adjustment as seen in post #43 above. I’m using ByWord and everything looks fine. Maybe it is a matter of file format (again, see post #43 above). Anyway, please make a test with other text editor such as the Mac OSX default one (TextEdit.app). Thank you for your feedback!
  20. Evernote download: Go to evernote.com/evernote and instead of clicking the big green button click the little white arrow then select Mac OS X. Alfred pre-release: Go to Alfred Preferences then Update (at top right) then below where it says Automatically check for select pre-releases. The version required by the latest Evernote workflow version should be there.

  22. I was following this topic for some time. Great to see a solution. Congrats. to all!
  23. Thank you Shawn. It is a great workflow to schedule tasks.
  24. OK. I’ve found an issue for OK. I’ve found an issue when using the workflow for the very first time. Download the new version here. Some workflow features may not work in Evernote from the Mac App Store. The recommendation is to download Evernote from evernote.com. Thank you for your feedback.
