    You are welcome!

This is just to more conveniently access the environment variable '${alfred_workflow_bundleid}' and the argument.

What I do is map a "hyper" modifier + hjkl to the arrow keys.
So no, Alfred has no native vim mode.

You can just manipulate an environment variable to switch through different states.

Sure, there are two ways that I see with only the objects we've already used.
    1. Directly set and format your rich text in the "Copy to Clipboard" utility (that one actually does support rich text).
    2. Just check out the "Dispatch Key Combo" chain and extend it to whatever you need the result to be.

    Hey everyone!

I'm excited to share the alpha preview of Ayai - GPT Nexus with you, a workflow that lets you interact with various AI language models.
The workflow integrates APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, while also supporting local LLMs.

    Why an Alpha Preview?

While Ayai - GPT Nexus is still a work in progress, it’s already quite useful. Development has slowed down recently, and I’m not actively working on it as much. Rather than keep it under wraps until it's perfect, I wanted to release it now so you can take advantage of its current features and provide feedback that could shape its future development.

    Current Features
Chat with AI Models: Interact with ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini. Third-Party Proxies: Connect through OpenRouter, Groq, Fireworks, Together.ai, and other proxies compatible with OpenAI's response format. Local LLMs: Use local models via interfaces like Ollama or LM Studio. Live Web Search: Enable live web search for OpenAI models with additional Exa.ai or Azure API keys (experimental).
    What’s Missing?

The "Ayai" part of the name hints at some personal AI assistant features I have in mind and plan to explore in the future. Additionally, the text processing features like paraphrasing, simplifying, changing the tone of text, or summarizing documents (PDFs, docx, text files, etc.) without needing to go through the chat window are still on the to-do list.

Your feedback is, of course, appreciated!

Looking forward to hearing what you think!

When building a workflow, it would be handy to be able to hold a modifier key and drag an object to intercept a data connection. Max MSP by Cycling 74 does this well and is a good reference. Hold the shift key, and when the object aligns with the connection then the cable is plugged into the object's I/O.

See attached gif of Max example.

What I was missing in the existing window switchers was a way to navigate between windows of the same application that are scattered across different desktop spaces, so I created one that does just that 😄

    Window Navigator

Navigate to any window of the currently focused application across all desktops or switch windows in the current desktop space.

    Usage
Search the windows of the active app globally using the Navigator keyword. Search app windows in the current desktop space using the Switcher keyword. Search all visible windows of all apps globally using the Global keyword. ⏎ to navigate to the selected window.  ⌘⏎ to close the selected window. ⌥⏎ to quit the owning application. Configure the hotkeys for quick access.

zeitlings reacted to Hekate in Lunatask task and note creation
Lunatask is an all-in-one encrypted to-do list, habit tracker, journaling, life-tracking and notes app. This workflow enables the quick creation of tasks and notes within Lunatask by leveraging the API.

The workflow allows for quick logging of new tasks by just inputing the name.

Or for tasks to be created with any desired option modifications.

The workflow also supports the creation of Lunatask's markdown-based notes.

The workflow can be downloaded from GitHub with the source code in the accompanying repository.

Usage instructions can be found on the GitHub page and in the workflow's about section.

Due to the current functionality of the Lunatask API, please note the following:
An internet connection is required to use the extension. Related, the Lunatask app is not required to be installed on this computer though various configuration information must be manually copied from the app so an install somewhere is required. New tasks and notes can be created but existing ones cannot be edited It is possible that in a future update of this workflow that the ability for editing of tasks/notes created by this workflow may be added. With manual data export from Lunatask, it is theoretically possible to edit tasks/notes that exist at the time of export though it is unlikely this functionality will be added unless programatic export becomes supported.
Support for Lunatask's new "Relationships" will come in a future update.

A special thanks to Mike, the creator of Lunatask, and to @zeitlings and their Swift GUI workflow (related Alfred forum thread).

Please let me know if you have feedback!

As a general tip, use the debug utility to check your arguments and variables.
When the string is returned from AppleScript, a newline character is added to the name of your frontmost app.
If you remove the trailing newline character, matching the name will succeed.

I did think of suggesting that (it's what I always use these days) but as Textdriven implied that he might want to go direct to Workflows I suggested the alternative. The difference, of course, is that while the shortcut will open Alfred's preferences it will go to the pane in last used in preferences.

    Hey,

I am working on the next evolution of the workflow. The major changes involve the addition of an agenda, the possibility to create new events using natural language, improvements of the week view and an overall redesign. For now, the search function stays true to what it was, except that it is handled internally.

I'm announcing this, because I'm looking for some of you to beta test the workflow as I'm somewhat pushing the limits of what can be achieved with Alfred's plain text result items, and would appreciate knowing that it works well on different machines with different configurations.

    For the potential beta tester:
I am using the same tricks to right-align the icons that I use to create the tidy block calendar, and would like to know if the layout of the results (e.g. a listed calendar event) succeeds with your custom theme and configuration. One of the key challenges is to present all the relevant information clearly, given Alfred's limitations in displaying data, without making the view feel cluttered and distracting.  I'd like to get your feedback on how well this works, and your suggestions on how to possibly improve the views. Especially the agenda.  I'd also like you to test the new features and let me know if they (a) work for you as expected, (b) are intuitive for you or not, (c) are buggy in any way or broken due to your locale. Permissions authentication has changed recently, and I am wondering if you are having problems granting access to your calendars, and if so, how you may have resolved them. Note that the workflow requires Apple's SF Symbols to be installed for the icons to show.
Please let me know if you're interested!

Wow @zeitlings. I've been thinking about this very use case and came up with a way less elegant solution with a list filter. I have two small requests if they don't cause too much of a headache.....   Would it be possible to establish a location for the files instead of the path of the workflow? I like to keep my text files in a path that i can access remotely on my other devices on the go. For example,  I would like to have a folder for these files on dropbox etc. Secondly, i would love to be able to change the extension to .txt as well like Note Taker allows.

And lastly your creative output and @pseudometa's is pretty incredible. So thanks to you both as we all reap the rewards of your hard work.
