For 10.8, there is a workaround. If you put in the sudo command before the `networksetup` command, then it can work seamlessly without needing a password as long as you follow the instructions that I pasted below (it's part of a commented bash script I wrote).
    # If you want to avoid putting in a password, then make sure that the # sudo variable below is uncommented. AND add the following line # to /etc/sudoers (sudo nano /etc/sudoers) -- type in your pword at the prompt # USER ALL=NOPASSWD:/usr/sbin/networksetup # "USER" needs to be replaced with your username (or the username of anyone # who uses Alfred2 and this workflow.)

You need to have the command-line tools installed to build gems with native extensions (that's the compiler toolchain, headers, etc.). It's available in Xcode which is free on the App Store but is an enormous download. If you go that route, after you install it, go to Preferences -> Downloads and install the Command Line Tools from inside Xcode.

You can also go to https://developer.apple.com/downloads and download the Command Line Tools .dmg and install from there - it's much smaller and doesn't install Xcode. You have to register at developer.apple.com to download anything but it's free.

    Hi All,

I created a quick and easy workflow for searching for OpenMeta tags in Alfred 2.
I used the icon from CASEapps Tags for the workflow. I’m not sure whether or not this is OK, but I thought I could still share the workflow here while we’re in beta and worry about icons at a later point (obviously, I’m not an icon designer myself and I couldn’t find a generic icon for the  OpenMeta project).

    Here it is (zipped archive).

    Hi,

Okay, please forgive me for any mistakes I make here! This is my first, very basic, AppleScript workflow. It is probably terribly done and completely wrong, but I was proud and wanted to share it! It's very simple, just creates a note in the Notes app. It can either close immediately after or (by pressing alt) can leave the app open.

I apologise if this workflow is a duplicate of someone else's, I couldn't find one by searching when I looked, as I wasn't originally planning on creating it myself!

I was hoping somebody could give me some advice on extending the workflow to add a notification when successful. I wanted to display the contents of the note in the notification, but using {query} just results in a blank message! Any corrections, improvements and modifications are very welcome!

    Hey guys,

here is a Google Translate workflow i made based on Anders Bech Mellson's work. Once again, I don't want to take credit for a work that isn't mine. I'm just feeding back to alfred the results of an already good extension.

Press enter to copy to clipboard, FN to look up on the actual translate.google.com website.

It's really easy to add / remove / edit for your own set of languages, just look at the workflow.
