You’re not supposed to add the whole URL, just http:// or https://

Alan He reacted to vitor in Alfred Remote for Android?
[emphasis mine]
To be fair, views are meaningless. I have no interest in Android and still viewed the topic, as I’d bet most other workflows developers (who realised the topic exists) did as well, just to gather what the response was.
I won’t speak for Alfred’s team, but as an open-source maintainer, repeated +1ing of a topic that was already given a clear answer is useless and serves only to counter-productively drown out the important parts of the discussion. It has already been shown there is interest; continuing to +1 serves no further purpose. As Vero said, there are only two on Alfred’s team, and I’m not even sure both of them code (Vero is way more active with the community, so I’m guessing she takes care of most — often way more demanding — non-coding matters). Investing on a platform they don’t use (including learning it, and all the time that comes with doing so) likely won’t pay off.
As Andrew said, they won't be encouraging or supporting reverse engineering, and only once Remote settles and becomes established, they may provide solutions for third-party integrations. This all means: don’t count on an official Android client1, and if you want to work on a third-party solution, you’ll have to wait until steps are done that will make that possible, if ever.
Locking the topic, as it’s effectively been answered. If things change, Vero and/or Andrew can unlock it and give further news, or (more likely) make an official announcement somewhere else. Either way, we all want for continued posts to be informative, instead of a repetition what has been asked over and over.
——————————
1 It may happen, but it’s extremely unlikely and there are no plans in that direction as of now.

That URL is invalid (it has a space in it). Could you verify with a valid URL?

Alan He reacted to deanishe in clipboard history text colour etc.
Hi @John_Orthogonal, welcome to the forum.
That's an awfully large change to Alfred you're asking for to solve a problem that, essentially, you've deliberately created for yourself. I honestly wouldn't hold out much hope unless you can think of a better reason.

Alan He reacted to vitor in AppleScript command to turn on display mirroring when plugged into an external monitor
Because the problem isn’t Alfred-related, you should ask somewhere else more general, like Ask Different. After you get the code, we can help you make the Workflow if you need it.
I’ve done a quick search for “applescript display mirroring” and found results. I haven’t tried any of them, which is why I’m not linking to anything specific.

Alan He reacted to Andrew in [Suggestion] Set ⌘-⇧-/ to open alfredapp.com/help/
@Chris Messina if I show Alfred and type ⌘⇧/, I don't get anything on Mojave, or Big Sur. This shortcut is the standard macOS shortcut to highlight Help menu search field, Alfred doesn't have a menu. Do you have any other apps installed which could be causing this to occur in Alfred?
As for getting a list of keywords, you can type ?keywords into Alfred, likewise, use ?hotkeys to see all hotkeys.

Alan He reacted to deanishe in Microsoft Teams
If it's an Electron app, then client-side scripting is probably out of the question: Electron doesn't support AppleScript.
Guys, just posting "+1" is very unlikely to get you any closer to having a Teams workflow.
There are plenty of people who’ll help if you write the workflow yourself, and others will write you a simple workflow based on an API you've found. But not many will look at a thread of “+1” posts and decide to do literally all of the work for you.
Put in a bit of effort yourselves (e.g. go find out if there's an API), and someone who can help is much more likely to reciprocate.

Alan He reacted to Vero in Web Bookmarks support for Brave
@kms There's a workflow here for Brave bookmarks, which you may want tot try:
At this time, we are not planning on adding Brave browser support, as it isn't widely used, but we always keep an eye on stats and demand.
Cheers,
Vero

Alan He reacted to Babesun in Automaticly get the favicon of the website for the ICON to the custom search engine
Almost every website has a favicon, and we can get the imageurl in the source code of the webpage. Why not set it for the ICON of the custom searches?
And, please add "www.baidu.com" to the default web search list, it's very popular in China.
Thank you~

Alan He reacted to Vero in Quick search for email and messages
@Machinegun Welcome to the forum! As @deanishe suggest, a File Filter workflow is ideal for searching specific types/locations like emails.
If you'd like to search Mail.app by sender, you can use this workflow if you're using macOS Mojave or older OS version.
[Edited to add: This workflow will only work on macOS 10.14 Mojave and older. Apple have removed access to Mail content for third parties from 10.15 Catalina onwards, so no results will be returned in these macOS versions.]
Cheers,
Vero

Alan He reacted to Vero in Alfred 4.3 Pre-release: Big Sur Theming Improvements
Alfred 4.3 is now in pre-release with gorgeous improvements to theming.
We've added the ability to choose a native macOS Visual Effect view to back Alfred's window, which makes it easy to create native-looking themes, as well as more control over rounded corners.
We've created a couple of themes as examples, but I'm sure you'll create some fabulous themes too!
Light Experimental theme Dark Experimental theme
Below are the key things to check out when creating themes in 4.3. Please read all the way to the end of this post for a few important notes!
1. Set your base Visual Effect to light or dark under the Window Blur icon in the top left of the theme preview
This will define the base of your theme to be brighter or darker. The macOS Visual Effect view is designed to be used with no additional colour, however you can still set your theme's background colour, so you can get some really interesting tints.
Your best bet to get a colour tint is to set the window colour, and turn down the opacity. In the included themes, the dark version has a low opacity black background set. The light theme has a low opacity white background set. An opacity of 30-35% seems to give the best readability in most situations.
2. Rounded corners can be tweaked for the whole window, the search box and the selected result
Hover over any corner of the field you're interested in and drag to set the corner roundness.
3. A few important notes
This feature is still in development, so there may be some more or less visible changes over the next little while The "Share on alfredapp.com" feature isn't yet suitable for these themes, as the site isn't set up to understand the new theme settings If you want to share your theme with a friend, use the "Export as file..." option instead. As usual, check out the change log in the Update tab of the preferences to see the full list of changes in this pre-release
And now for some pretty pictures, here are the two themes in their full glory!
Cheers,
Vero

Alan He reacted to Vero in Alfred window should pop up in the active screen for multi screen environment
@dtong Welcome to the forum Take a look at the Appearance Options, where you can set where you want Alfred to appear; On the default screen, mouse screen or active screen.
Here's more about the Appearance options:

Alan He reacted to yoshi in Option for Alfred to appear on every screen
It'd be great to have, as an alternative to the three existing "Show Alfred on [option] screen" options, an option to display Alfred on every screen simultaneously.
I often don't remember which screen I last left active, so "active screen" isn't perfect, but also when using the non-default screen I don't want to look away, so "default screen" isn't perfect.
It'd be great if there were an option to mirror the same visual presentation of the Alfred search bar across every screen (even if the application was truly only associated with one).
That way, you can always see it!
(In terms of which screen any new app is opened in, that could be set using the earlier option, and this setting could be separate.)

Alan He got a reaction from Terminal in clipboard history support multi select
When pasting, sometimes, I want to paste multiple histories at once. Currently I need to call up the Clipboard history multiple times. If multiple selections are supported, for example, while pressing Shift or Command as modifier key, apply multiple selections will be a very good experience.

Alan He reacted to iApple in How do I import workflows?
Download the file, double click on that file, Alfred should prompt you to import or cancel.
