    Yes, that's what I've decided I'll do:

Yes, I'll likely end up doing that too, once I standardize on the synonyms.

What I would prefer would be to edit one of those keyword objects and just add synonyms or aliases directly, just to keep the Workflow layout cleaner.

Right, but this would mean duplicating those keywords in each of the workflows in which I want to use these keywords, right?

I think that's probably fine, it's just a little inefficient since I'm creating workflow toolkits for several services with similar features (Twitter, Instagram, etc) and will need to sync/update these synonyms across all of the toolkits.

+1 for this request. I felt the exact same need (in my case, I have several workflows that allow me to quickly access my messages... so I really want to use "message", "dms", and "send", etc as aliases for several searches/workflows).

A workflow to quickly access and manage other workflows' info and folders.

Derived from `alfred-extension`, an Alfred2 extension created by @jmjeong.
Main changes: dropped `open in iTerm2`, `export`, and `disable` actions, added access to workflow info, folder, and cache, config, detection of hotkey conflicts. Workflows' info now stored in a `sqlite` database for faster access.

    As usual, feedback welcome!

Chris Messina reacted to giovanni in How can I quickly find hotkey combination conflicts?
@Chris Messina you might want to try this I just posted, which shows conflicting hotkeys and shows a different icon (🟠) if a hotkey is only shared with a disabled workflow. Feedback appreciated!

    Sure.
I put it in a gist so you can view the changes easily.  Mostly it involved breaking its dependence on @deanishe's Python workflow framework.

Thanks to @giovanni for doing the hard work on CodeCase.  I just used FileMerge to see what he did, and replicated it here.

    Hi all,

Just to update you, we have this in hand. We've been directly chatting with Dave at 1Pwd and we not only have a 1Password 8 integration in the works, but also have some good ideas for deeper integration

    Cheers,

Chris Messina reacted to vitor in Making Python 2 Workflows work on macOS Monterey 12.3 and above
With macOS Monterey 12.3, Apple removed the bundled Python 2 interpreter. That means older Workflows dependent on Python 2 will no longer work without modification.

You can reinstall Python 2, but some Workflows will still require a tweak to work. It’s simple enough to do if you know what to look for, but not everyone does. The Updated Third-Party Python 2 Workflows repository on GitHub is meant to close that gap.

Check the list of available Workflows. If the one you need isn’t present, ask for it there or as a reply on this thread. Be sure to include a link to the original.

Note this is only for Python 2 Workflows which break on Monterey 12.3 and above due to the Python 2 removal. If a Workflow stops working for any other reason, contact the author as usual.

    Hello! 👋🏻

One of our founders, Dave, has posted an update on our progress and current thought process on this type of integration with Alfred and other tools looking to integrate in similar ways with 1Password. You can read that update here:

Thank you all for your continued patience as we continue to work with Alfred and other developers to make this the best experience possible.

Chris Messina reacted to saor47 in Allow ⌘C in actions panel
I think it'd be a good idea to implement ⌘C in the actions panel, which not only spares the `Copy as Plain Text` action, but also - with a hotkey for activating Alfred with selection - enables `Use in Alfred` with one key stroke.

The less actions necessary, the neater and more efficient the interface.

Chris Messina reacted to Andrew in Using python3 in Run Script blocks?
I will be making a few tweaks in the next release.

The config for Run Script / Script Filter now does a check to see if the language is available and adds a [not installed] on the language selection for missing bins. I have also added a comment to the example Python script (when selecting the Python language) which highlights the impending issue.
