verbatim Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 I love Alfred, but I think you forgot something in your new Bookmarklets feature: Why are Safari and Chrome the only source options for new Bookmarklets. Why not show a little love to Firefox, too? spacek33z 1
deanishe Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 (edited) Because only ~5% of Mac users use Firefox? @Andrew will have more relevant stats from the forum and alfredapp.com metrics, but unless the market share is massively higher amongst Alfred users or it’s trivially easy to support Firefox, it’s probably not worth the effort. Considering the recent buzz around Quantum that number might increase (at least) among power users, if ever slightly. I, for one, don’t intend to switch partly due to their piss poor and ignored AppleScript support1 and that awful back button2. 1. Meaning some important (for me) Alfred Workflows (most made by myself, for myself) would no longer work. 2. You might think I’m joking, but I’m not. It’s the only button you can’t hide from the interface. I have no need for it (I always swipe) and my eyes keep getting drawn to how ugly and not discrete it is. deanishe 1
