Duplicate apps in results (10.15 and V4)

@MVR London Did you type "reload" into Alfred? This will refresh the app cache for any apps that may no longer exist in the old location.

I did the ol' `reload` and indeed no longer see duplicates, but now all Application results show the path `/System/Volumes/Data/Applications/[App].app` instead of the former, simpler, and—as far as I know—truer `/Applications/[App].app`.

 

Any way to force Alfred to index (or display) only `/Applications/[App].app` and _not_ `/System/Volumes/Data/Applications/[App].app`?

@unitof Alfred is showing the actual location of the apps as passed back to him by macOS when searching.

 

I'm going to be adding a bit of logic to be able to show the virtual locations of the apps (/Applications/.../) in a future release.

If you update to the Alfred 4.0.5 b1116 pre-release, the duplicates should now be gone, and Alfred will also show /Applications/ as the path where appropriate.

This works. I meant the aliasing to /Applications. Is that coming to v3 as well?

This isn't coming to Alfred 3, which will continue to show the "real" path in macOS Catalina instead of the virtual /Applications/ location.
