JulianW
Hi, currently using the macOS Big Sur Beta and was styling Alfred for the upcoming makeover of the macOS UI. I prefer a look as close to the system UI as possible. Light: https://www.alfredapp.com/extras/theme/eHfgpMFvON/ Dark Mode: https://www.alfredapp.com/extras/theme/NWnuAKel02/ A little unfortunate, that there is no option to round the corners on the selection background elements, they appear very pointy in the new environment of even more rounded corners in macOS Big Sur. Hope you enjoy! empty23, scottrych, Chris Messina and 2 others
empty23
Beautiful theme! Thanks a lot for your work! JulianW
JulianW
Something to be aware of: The blur through the Alfred window does currently not work when using Alfred (4.1 Beta) in macOS Big Sur (Beta 2).
dfay
Off topic but how is Big Sur working for you overall?
AlexMartinFR
Hi Julian! Nice work on the theme! I've come to the same conclusion when trying to adapt my existing theme collection to Big Sur. We really need those nice, sweet, round corners 😎 I've made a tweet about it, to see if there is enough demand for the devs to work on that feature: Feel free to share! Hey, bit of a late answer but Big Sur works fine for me since developer beta 1. All my software works fine. I use a lot of Figma and Notion and those two apps are basically webapps in containers anyway, so complications are very unlikely there. Pixelmator, Parallels, Things, 1Password also all work perfectly fine for me. The public beta launched a couple days ago, maybe you want to give that a go
ericny523
Thanks for doing the work on this. Just a heads up - running Big Sur 11.0.1, the dark thing shows a weird transparent offset on all corners. Wondering if anyone else is seeing it? Thanks again! mickaphd
I agree... I hope they will update Alfred themes or at least the theme editor asap so we can have or make something correct that fit well with Big Sur...
elnadav12
This theme is absolutely awesome. Most people won't even notice that's not spotlight! The only thing I changed was the horizontal window padding -> zero. The rounded corners glitch is a little annoying but that's a small compromise for this incredible design! Thanks Julian! Andrew
Just to let you know, I'm working on new theming options which will allow for rounded corners and also to use the native macOS Visual Effect view (the blur effect you get in Spotlight and various windows around macOS). A side effect of the using this native view type is getting proper window surround, and no fuzzy corners. Here is an example: redboxcar, Joo, JJJJ and 3 others

flexbox
Just to let you know. I migrated my preferences from a Catalina MacBook Pro to BigSur with a M1 chip using the DropBox Sync. It's working like a charm! Thank you for your fantastic work! 🙌 Edited December 1, 2020 by flexbox
