  1. They are ordered by newest first by default, so typing "gallery" will show you the most recently added/updated workflows
  2. @Yanqi Send an email to our info@ address and we'll help you further. Please ensure you email from your registered email address to speed up the process.
  3. @huskyhusky I've had a deeper look at the exact setting you're referring to, as I had misunderstood your original post as saying that none of the ordering settings in File Navigation were working for you. Apologies for this! While the type of sorting (by name, creation date or last modified date is saved and permanent, the A->Z / Z->A, Oldest to Newest configuration is intentionally temporary. The expected and logically most useful default for this is to be alphabetical or sorted by the newest file, but the ⌘⇧S hotkey combo allows you to quickly flip it when needed. When you then access your File Navigation e.g. the next day, this will be reset to the most logical ordering. Is there a particular reason you prefer to sort from Z to A as a permanent feature? All of the above being said, there is a way for you to sort results in the order you prefer using a workflow with a hotkey connected to the Browse in Alfred object. Here I've set it to start navigating at ~ and sort by Last Modified Date by oldest to newest, but you could start from a particular folder or change the sorting. Let me know if you need any help configuring your own workflow.
  4. @huskyhusky Do you notice any other preferences you've customised resetting unexpectedly? Sounds like your preferences may not be saving as they should. Do you sync your preferences, and if so, where? (check Alfred's advanced preferences if you're not sure)
  5. @pankajbokdia Welcome to the forum Could you please provide more details of what your hotkey is, which version of Alfred and macOS you're using, etc? In terms of testing whether Accessibility is working as expected, if you're already familiar with the features, could you check if snippets auto-expansion and/or pasting from the clipboard history is working for you? This will help establish whether Accessibility permissions might be broken. The more information you can share, the easier it should become for me to help you work out what might be missing from your configuration.
  6. @Toffy Thanks for taking the time to provide more details. To be clear, this is an issue with macOS, not with Alfred, so these are workaround in Alfred given Apple hasn't, and likely won't, resolve the deeper-rooted issue. Which version of macOS are you using? Did you install it fresh or do an upgrade / use Time Machine / Migration Assistant to copy your stuff from an older Mac? With regards to exact matching "IR", have you ever searched for the folder in question and selected it when using that keyword? If so, Alfred will match it as a higher priority above random folders that contain the same characters. You can read more about Alfred's Knowledge and result ordering here: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/kb/understanding-result-ordering/
  7. Fantastic, thanks all for letting me know you're interested! I'll come up with some questions for the first round, but I like @sepulchra's suggestion for the style used on usesthis Check that the email address in your profile is still correct, and you should hear from me next week!
  8. @Toffy Thanks for the details. Could you please open your Alfred preferences to the Default Results, click the "Reset..." button bottom right of the search scope and set it to Full Disk? If you search for the file, can you now find it? Summarising a past macOS bug, some users who upgraded their Mac / set up a new one by using the macOS Migration Assistant encounter a scope issue where macOS doesn't correctly resolve the paths from the old Mac to the new one. Setting the scope to Full Disk usually works around that bug. It's been much less frequently reported recently, so I can only surmise that Apple has fixed it in some contexts but not all. Some users reported that this scope issue was resolved by fully reindexing their Mac, so if you have a moment, that's also a good option. Let me know how you get on
  9. @jgbrock Alfred offers the fallback searches when no matching local results are found. Are the files you're searching for and not finding exclusively in OneDrive or are you unable to find files elsewhere on your Mac? You can find out how to use the file troubleshooter here where you can drag in files and see why they're not included in results: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/indexing/ Please share the output of the troubleshooting in full so that we can take a look.
  10. @Toffy Would you be able to paste the full troubleshooting for a file with which you've had issues? Or at the very least provide the path where it's stored? The more information we have, the more likely we can give you pointers in the right direction. For example, if the files in question are part of folders that iCloud or a third-party sync service might move to online-only storage, etc this may affect how Spotlight indexes them.
  11. @sepulchra Thanks for the post - This is something we've done in the past, and I would love to do again! Would you imagine sharing workflows you use, habits you've created, features that help you daily, etc? I also welcome anyone else interested in being involved in future blog posts to say hi 👋 and we'll work on something together.
  12. @MR Connolly Welcome to the forum Could you please let me know which version of Alfred you're using so that I can help you further?
  13. @arthurhoo As with the user above, could you please visit the Gallery page and click the Download button, and let me know if you're able to download the workflow there? As we explained to the user above, the step that is failing is Alfred trying to contact Github to download the workflow. Another user based in China confirmed that the ISP internet connection was restricting his usage, but that using mobile data allowed him to complete the downloads from the Gallery.
  14. @KelvinZhao When you say "into ChatGPT", is this the openai website in Safari? In a different browser? Or a standalone app version? I've tried the OpenAI website in Safari on a current Ventura Mac, and don't see any delays or keywords remaining. So the more details you can give, the better we'll be able to help you out.
  15. @Stat Welcome to the forum If you're referring to the fallback searches, which is the list of results that appear when Alfred doesn't find a match for the term you've typed, you can change them in the Fallback Search preferences: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/features/default-results/fallback-searches/
  16. @KelvinZhao Could you give us some context as to where you're pasting? If you launch TextEdit (a simple and native app, ideal for testing) and try to expand your snippet, what do you see? Does the keyword disappear fully? Try slowing down key events as a first step: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/snippets/#partial
  17. The first step for this is to answer the questions asked by Vítor in response to your other post: Which workflows, specifically, are you trying to run? What does the debugger say? What’s your version of Alfred and macOS?
  18. @rob213 If you want to search for files and folders, add a file of the type you want to search to the scope as well. You can include as many or as few file types as you want in the File Types (hence it being a large box with multiple lines) For example, the search above would include folders and PDF files. However, you might be better off duplicating the workflow and creating individual ones for folders and files for ease and search efficiency
  19. @rob213 To do this, first duplicate the workflow (so that the bundle ID is removed, ensuring that next time we update that workflow, it doesn't overwrite yours). I'd recommend changing the workflow name - and keyword if you wish - to make sure it doesn't cause confusion later Next, take a look at the workflow objects - the one you want to edit is the third object titled "Search for files". Double-click the third object to open the configuration and you'll see that the File Types section is empty. If you drag in a folder, you'll then narrow down the filtering to only showing you folders. Change the title to "Search for subfolders" and save your changes, and you're done!
  20. @JasonRothchild Apologies for the lack of response - I try to respond to everyone on the forum but didn't spot your post. Would you be able to provide more details? What are you typing into Alfred? Are any of your iCloud files found? Is this an issue that applies to all files or only some? Does it happen all the time, or are the same files sometimes found, sometimes not found? Which version of Alfred and macOS are you using? Are you using Optimised Storage for iCloud (where files are either available locally or online-only depending on the space available on your Mac)? You'll find this in your System Settings > iCloud preferences. The more information you can provide, the more likely we'll be able to help work out what's happening on your Mac
  21. @chrislemke might have some insight into what subscription is needed for the workflow at this time?
  22. @andy4222 Type "reload" to refresh the app cache. This should take care of it
  23. What do you see in your OpenAI dashboard? This is the usage dashboard: https://platform.openai.com/account/usage And the rate limits: https://platform.openai.com/account/rate-limits
  24. @Lars Pre-empting the information @Miko will need to help you further, could you please run this action with the Workflow Debugger running? Here's how you use the debugger: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/workflows/advanced/debugger/ This will then show what kind of error the workflow is returning, and should give Miko more info to help you out
  25. @yinan You could uncheck the default System Preferences box and create a workflow with keywords to trigger the custom ones you'd like to add for third-party apps in a similar way to the app nicknames mentioned here: https://www.alfredapp.com/blog/tips-and-tricks/give-files-nicknames-to-find-them-faster/
