Interesting spot! I've just spent a bit of time investigating this and it looks like macOS 10.12 has different behaviour where using fn+return passes the mods as being the number pad enter key so it's treated differently in Alfred. I'll get this fixed shortly and do another pre-release

Really love threads like this, would love to hear other people's choices. I even made a repo with all the great stuff I use here : https://github.com/nikitavoloboev/my-mac-os
 
Here are the workflows that I use from it :
 
Searchio (allows me to quickly search Google, Youtube, Wikipedia, Google Images and Maps quickly and with autosuggestions being provided with every query I type. I can quickly press command + caps lock and type anything I want and use the wonderful power of Google to answer any question that I have. Dash (as mentioned before, it allows me to very quickly search through any docset that I have downloaded for anything I want, it allows me to also scope my search for any specific docset that I want to search. I have it binded to left option and caps lock. Github Command Bar (allows me to quickly find any repository that I want, search through Github, go to my current issues, my dashboard and a lot lot more) Stack Overflow (Stack Overflow search from Alfred with autosuggestions, very often I still just use Google to do my search queries but this allows me to more specifically target Stack Overflow and also see the results from the Alfred prompt itself. currentURL (a very simple workflow that simply gets the url of currently active Safari tab and puts it into system clipboard, I use it a lot as I often want to add a link to some list in 2Do or have it be pasted to some text I am writing) Pocket (allows me to quickly save an article I am reading to Pocket for later reading, I can also go through and search any article that I want to read, archive an article that I have read already in the browser but still want to keep in Pocket)  Units (if I even am in need to do any kind of conversion, I do it here) Safari Search (use it all the time now, can instantly search through any bookmarks that I have saved in Safari as well as go through my history. The search is instant and very accurate, it also learns from what you usually choose.) Spotify Mini Player (mentioned it briefly above, but this is an absolutely phenomenal tool that allows me to essentially control through the entirety of Spotify client through a quick Alfred prompt) (very powerful workflow) And here is an imgur album of all the workflows that I have and use : https://imgur.com/a/P2S8T

I love spotify mini player but wasn't a huge fan of the icons so I made my own.

This creates a new reminder in Reminders.app
Download the latest version, for Alfred v3+ and macOS 10.12+
For older versions, go here.
Usage
To use, just type r <some text> into Alfred.
For example, r check out some of Alfred's other workflows will create a new reminder called "check out some of Alfred's other workflows".
You can also include times and dates in the text and have Alfred set a reminder for that particular time.
r this will capture the current application and turn it into a reminder.
r help will show some built-in examples.

Dates
To be reminded at a specific date/time, simply type a date into the command, for example:
r today release the hamsters into the wild r tomorrow bring about financial ruin upon my enemies r in 5 minutes drop everything r in 2 hours laugh out loud r on 24/12/13 forget everything I know about things in movies r on 12 June 15 come up with some interesting ideas r on 31-12-99 23:22 panic about the millennium bug r at 2pm wait for nothing in particular r next thursday at 15.30 ask some difficult questions
Priority
To set the priority of the reminder, either use exclamation marks right at the start or end of the command (! for low priority, !! for medium priority, !!! for high priority), or type the priority right at the end of the command (these can also be abbreviated, for example mp or p lo). For example:
r !!! in 2 weeks an important meeting r thursday have a banana medium priority r decide what to have for lunch !lo r make a turkey sandwich p3 Lists
To choose a list to use on a per-reminder basis, type in <list name> list right at the end of the command, for example r Get Santa outfit !2 in Christmas list. If a matching list can't be found, you won't be able to action the command.
In all other cases, the default Reminders list will be used (typically the first one). If you prefer, you can edit the defaultList variable within the workflow's Arg and Vars node (note that you'll have to edit this each time you upgrade the workflow however).
Apps
Get reminded about the app you're using, for example the selected file in Finder, or the current tab in Chrome or Safari.
To create a reminder about the active app, simply type r this. Or keep typing to set a date, priority or a custom title, for example r this drop some sick beats on Friday !!!.
The following apps are currently supported:
Adobe Acrobat (Pro/DX) Chromium Contacts Finder FoldingText Google Chrome Google Chrome Canary Mail Mailplane 3 Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Word Safari TextEdit TextMate Vienna WebKit Apps can be added on request. Just raise an issue with the app you use. As long as it's freely available and has AppleScript support, it can be added.

r help will display the above examples
All sorts of combinations are possible!
Configuration
If you want to change the default reminder list, edit the variables component at the top of the workflow, otherwise it will just use the first one (unless you use "in Y list" at the end).
External Trigger
To call the workflow as an external trigger, use applescript such as
tell application "Alfred 3" to run trigger "remind" in workflow "com.surrealroad.alfred-reminder" with argument "something tomorrow at 5pm"

I gave up on this workflow [because I was too lazy to figure out what was up] a while back when I got this error:

 
Ultimately, I migrated to Rdio for a while. I'm back to Spotify though.
Launching the workflow, I got the error above. I replaced it with the latest version, and I'm still getting the same error. I tried 'Kill update library' and 'Reset Settings for Spotify Mini Player.' What is my next best bet? I would love to get this up and running.

Strike Workflow for Alfred
 

 
 
For those who doesn't know Strike, is a torrent search engine with a clean and nice interface and a complete API (used in this workflow, of course)
 
I've made a workflow that allows you to search torrents inside Alfred, showing the size of the file, the seeds and leechers, and the category. For start downloading with your default torrents client, just press enter.

This workflow is what made me purchase an Alfred Powerpack license. Been using Alfred for ages but never really looked at workflows.
 
I was looking for a way to run a mini type Spotify app, from the taskbar, as I find the actual spotify app to get in the way and disruptive to my work.
 
Anyhow, my trek through the internets I discovered this and mopidy, voila !

This workflow seems amazing. But I can't get it going. No matter which mailbox I choose (INBOX, STARRED, SENT, SPAM, ETC) I get "No Mails Found". Can you help?

No it just tell AppleScript is broken, which is the case with last version of spotify. The problem is absolutely not with my workflow, it is spotify releasing a version of their software completely broken..all 3rdparty apps using applescrip are not working..and yes, this is absolutely unacceptable and you can complain to Spotify!

Does this fix compatibility issues or does it just tell us which version of Spotify we have?
