Alan He reacted to smartishhome in Unable to delete personal snippets
FWIW I confirmed the ability to delete a personal snippet on my other mac (it continues to work) that is running Big Sur (11.6.5) and that still syncs the Alfred Preferences from the folder located within

    /Users/smartishhome/OneDrive

So the path change is only required in Monterey it seems.

I am unable to delete personal snippets that I have created.

I attempted to delete a personal snippet that I created in the Snippets section of Features within Alfred Preferences.  I tried to right click and select delete on the line item I wanted to delete as well as highlighting the line item and pressing the minus sign in the bottom right of the section. Either way, I received a notification with the options of cancel and delete.  I selected delete but the snippet was not deleted.   I was unsuccessful at deleting the snippet on multiple attempts and after closing Alfred and restarting Alfred.   I am attaching a screenshot of the error message I received and eventually noticed.  "The file "xxxxxxx[xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxx].json" could not be moved to the trash.

    Hi all,

Just to update you, we have this in hand. We've been directly chatting with Dave at 1Pwd and we not only have a 1Password 8 integration in the works, but also have some good ideas for deeper integration

    Cheers,

    @Ilan Welcome to the forum

Depending on whether you've been syncing your preferences or not, here's where you'll find your preferences:

    Non-synced Mac:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Alfred/

    Synced Mac:
Check Alfred's Advanced preferences, where you'll see the sync folder you've set in the bottom right.

In that location, you'll find the Alfred.alfredpreferences bundle. Copy it to the same location in your new user profile to use these preferences. You'll need to activate your Powerpack license on your new profile as well.

Let us know if you need any further help.

Alan He reacted to vitor in WebScreenshots — Take screenshots directly to the web
This workflow is officially deprecated in favour of Screenshots

Take screenshots with and upload them directly to imgur, copying the resulting link to the clipboard.

In addition to the Hotkey, you may upload an image or video by picking the Upload Screenshot File Action.

uploadscreenshotclipboard uploads the most recent image data in your clipboard.

savescreenshotclipboard saves the most recent image data in your clipboard to the Desktop.

recentscreenshots enumerates recently uploaded screenshots, ordered from the last. You can then open them in the browser to view (↵), delete (⌘↵), copy (⌥↵), or preview (⇧).

This could be really useful. Instead of digging in the control center for the toggles or ask Siri to do it, you could just type something like "Turn on Night Shift" or maybe just "nightshift". It could work just like the commands for empty trash and other system functions.

I would greatly appreciate an option to control the clipboard manager font. The simultaneous fuzzy search of clipboard and snippets is great, but sometimes I have to lean in or use accessibility zoom to read it.

I would also like to be able to resize the whole window. I would prefer it to be much bigger, so that clipboard images can be viewed in detail.

@Jono Under Appearance > Options, you can decide when the subtext should appear. If you don't want the subtext, you can remove it (though I'm not sure I'd recommend it as, when searching for folders or files, it gives valuable context)

    Usage

Search through installed AppleScript dictionaries via the asdic keyword. ↩ to open.

The first run will take a few seconds to find the dictionaries, but subsequent runs will be instant. Updating the dictionaries list is done automatically but can be forced with ⌘⌥⌃↩.

A minority of apps use an older dictionary format which can be converted with the Universal Action.

Alfred only allows major keys like cmd, shift and option (if used with the former two) to be registered. We should allow Fn and option key to be registered as hotkey

    Alfred Cheat.sh
Access your favourite cheat sheets from cheat.sh directly from Alfred.
    Usage
The main workflow is accessd throught the keyword cht:

The selected cheat sheet will be copied to your clipboard.

On the first usage, the workflow will ask you to update the avaliable cheat sheets because it compiles a lista of avaliable items and caches it on the Work Flow Data folder for faster results. At anytime you could update the list throught the menu update cheats:

    Requirements
This workflow require you to have jq avaliable on your system.
To check if they're avaliable on your system open a terminal and type:
which jq The expected result is similar to:
    /usr/local/bin/jq Limitations
The main workflow doesn't support cheat sheets for programming languages or special pages like :help from cheat.sh (mainly because of the huge ammount of things that must be escaped to properly load as json).

If you want to acccess this type of content you could use the fcht keyword and it will print the full cheat sheet on your terminal instead.
    Download
Check the releases page to download it.

Alan He reacted to JJJJ in Pinning Clipboard Viewer
    Hello All,

What I like about alfred clipboard history is I can paste any item quickly with cmd+1, cmd+2 etc.. However, sometimes I have to paste many items to a single window and I don't want to open clipboard viewer everytime. My feature suggestion is an option to pin the clipboard viewer to the screen. Then, I can turn that option on and I can use cmd+# to paste several items quickly without bothering opening the clipboard viewer each time. I would really like to hear opinions about this suggestion.

Make a Keyword, connect it to the Run Script, connect it to the File Filter. You then call the Keyword, never the File Filter.

I guess you're setting a UID on your result items?

Alfred intelligently orders your results based on your past behaviour. So if you select "Safari" a few times for the query "s", Alfred will show "Safari" as the top result. It identifies results based on their UID.

As long as you don't give your items a UID, Alfred should show them in the same order you emit them.

If you do specify a UID, Alfred will take over ordering results.
