Andrew got a reaction from Tyler Eich in Force Keyword
This is actually something I've recently started to look into, I'm likely going to move that back from Noted into Bugs at some point

Andrew got a reaction from Subject22 in Wallpaper not conserved
The background image changing is simply designed to see your theme against different backgrounds to make sure it works, so not persistent in any way.
I'm moving this to closed as I want to keep the bug forum focused

Andrew got a reaction from Tyler Eich in Feature Request: Clone workflow
To start with, I want to add duplicate at the workflow level, but eventually, I want to make it significantly easier to play around with workflow objects themselves (i.e. copy / paste / duplicate within a workflow).

Andrew got a reaction from StDt in Alleyoop: Update Alfred Workflows
As posted at the top of this thread - While this is a convenient method for updating workflows, I cannot endorse the use of it unless you are fully aware of the security implications of blanket updating all of your workflows. I'm currently working on a built in workflow auto-updater, for a future Alfred 2 release, that performs the standard verification checks that Alfred currently does on manual import, along with migrating your hotkey/keyword settings on upgrading. I'll also be adding 3rd party workflow developer signatures to keep you safe.

Ah, so it is! I'll get this fixed in the next release cheers

Andrew got a reaction from derico in Open url with hotkey (10.6) [Fixed in temp b179, link in thread]
There seemed to be a little bug in 10.6 related to default browser selection for this workflow config. I've put together a new build for you which should fix this (from now on).

Let me know how you get on

Andrew got a reaction from Ddyracer in contacts not showing
If contacts is ticked under Alfred's Features > Default Result prefs, you may have answered "no" when Alfred asked for access to your contacts. Take a look in OS X's Security & Privacy > Privacy > Contacts to make sure Alfred 2 is ticked.
If ticked, try unticking and reticking.

Andrew got a reaction from drking in What does this update button do?
I'll rename this to "Save" for the next release to prevent confusion

Andrew got a reaction from Callum in Emailing contacts using gmail and Alfred actions
Unfortunately, this isn't possible as attaching a file requires AppleScript which can only be done with native apps. I'd be interested if somebody looked into creating a workflow for this using a Google API.

Andrew got a reaction from mariva in Feature Request: Clone workflow
Not at this point, but duplicate workflow is coming pretty soon to v2

Andrew got a reaction from gammawert in Alfred is searching directories I don't want
Drag the folders containing the applications you don't want searched to OS X's spotlight privacy prefs, wait a few moments, then type 'reload' in Alfred. They will then disappear from Alfred's results

Andrew got a reaction from kristjanotsmann in Creating a shortcut for launching an app?
In Alfred's Workflow preferences, take a look at some of the workflow templates (from the [+] button bottom left), maybe the "Launch file group from hotkey" one

Andrew got a reaction from jasalt in How to use global hot-keys to pick applications?
I definitely aim to make simple tasks like this a single step again in a future v2 release

Andrew reacted to Krisso in Workflow for Wunderlist 2 ?
Hey,
we will be adding AppleScript support in the next iterations of the OS X app which will make it easy to create custom workflows for Wunderlist 2 with Alfred 2.
Hold tight, soon.

Oops! Thanks for helping out though, appreciated

Andrew got a reaction from phyllisstein in Multiple notifications from single script
You can wire a notification out from the keyword which will be shown as soon as the keyword is actioned, then another notification wired out from your action will is shown when things are finished. I've thrown together a quick workflow to demonstrate this:

Andrew got a reaction from phyllisstein in How do workflows update?
At this point, workflows have to be updated manually.
Once I've worked through the security issues of unsolicited auto updating of workflows, I'm going to start looking into a built-in system which could facilitate this

Andrew got a reaction from LEMONed in Option for completely disabling 'Clipboard' in Alfred
One other thing... Alfred doesn't use the ctrl+cmd+v combo by default, so you may have a workflow setup with this hotkey combo.
