  1. @Renato This a very simple and very specific to my needs workflow. You can create one specific to yours very easily. It is just a "Inputs: Keyword" action that fires a few "Actions: Launch Apps / Files".
  2. I want to create a basic workflow that opens a few web pages and Alfred preferences using a keyword. I know this is possible as I created a workflow that only opens Alfred preferences in the past. But I can't make it this time. I think maybe I am trying to open the wrong file. Should I open the Alfred preferences file in my Dropbox file (I sync my preferences with Dropbox) or the one in my ~/Application Support/Alfred folder? Or any other file? Thank you.
  3. Just transitionned from Alfred 2 version to Alfred 3 with no problem. Thanks you for your amazing work! What a mandatory workflow!
  4. Version 1.2. is not working for me. Here is the debug :
  5. @Andrew I remember spending a lot of time talking with Vero about this issue. To make it short, the problem comes from my config. For more info:
  6. You are absolutely right! I forgot my specific configuration (2 macs). I can't add files in my Mac mini Alfred's buffer from my MacBook. Making me realize, I already asked the same question months ago...
  7. I am trying to move 10 .jpg files from one folder to another folder using the Alfred bar ONLY. I typed the name of the Folder my photos are in and from there I realised I can't add them in a buffer. I couldn't search for each of them and add them in a buffer as I do not know their names. (i.e 12222278678578485.jpg, 176456373.jpg, ...) For the moment, I still have to use my File manager, select the files and use the "move to..." action.
  8. @Andrew Nice! Plus, Quicklook (Cmd+Y) is a good solution to check the name of the file.
  9. When browsing files in Alfred, sometimes you end up in a situation like this: It became hard to select the right TextExpander backup file If Alfred could autoresize or do anything that would let me read my file names, that would be great.
  10. The transition went smoothly. Thank you! Please note that the clipboard was not working on my mac 1 and mac 2 until I uncheck "Show All snippets" at top of Clipboard History. Now everything is working perfectly well
  11. @Vero I was in a similar context. Installed Alfred3 on my Macbook but kept Alfred2 on my other Mac mini. Preferences between these two are sync via Dropbox. After installing Alfred3 I didn't have any snippets and clipboard history. After a few months using Alfred3 I am thinking using on my Mac mini. During the installation, I am asked if I want to migrate my preferences from Alfred2. The only thing I want is having the preferences I already set on my Macbook pro (Alfred3). How can I do that? Should I just copy and paste the Alfred3 preferences files from my Mackbook and paste it to my Mac Mini? Thank you.
  12. +100 I would even say : nX => Notex - {cursor} - {date:yyyy-MM-dd} - {cursor 1} Where I could go from to {cursor 1} via tab (navigate from cursor to cursor via tab).
  13. I do not think there is any workflow but can u se this tool: https://github.com/danieldiekmeier/textexpander-to-alfred3
  14. It just happened with two very simple workflows that I created. I will post a screenshot/console log if it happens again.
  15. I encountered a little thing that I wanted to report. When I typed the keyword of 2 of my workflows I had duplicates results in Alfred's bar. Let's say I typed "bre" and got "Dropbox - Backups" two times in Alfred's results. Exporting and reinstalling the workflow solved this problem @Vero/Andrew: Any rational/technical explanation to this?
  16. Ok. On Github, the copy/move workflow seems to have been modified for the last time 11 months ago.
  17. Awesome! Thank you! I downloaded and tried the 1.5 version from Packal but didn't see the new commands.
  18. @deanishe You are right I was looking for a File action and should have better specify it. I actually use two File actions (Alfred's one and this one) but I need to specify the folder I want to move my file to every time. Rather than a "Move to folder..." File action I would like to have a "Move to parent folder..." File action. Made a request to raguay.customct here.
  19. A feature request for you A File action that would let me move the files I selected to its parent folder (without having to specify the name of the current folder). For more information on what I am looking for: here. Thank you.
  20. I just want to be able to use "Selection in OS X" or "OS X clipboard content" arguments when I use a "Keyword" action. It means that I would type a keyword and the selection in OS X or the clipboard content would be added as an argument. A modifier key would let me decide if I want to use the "selection in OS X" or the "clipboard content". In practice, I would type my keyword, hit the modifier key I assigned + Enter and Voila. Done. Why do I need this? Because I have already set A LOT of keyboard shortcuts and might not have keyboard shortcuts combinations available. Plus, sometimes, it is easier (but maybe not faster) to use a keyword rather than a keyboard shortcut action. Use cases: mainly searches (on websites and in search engines).
