  1. #feedback Apparently, the workflow doesn't like , or ( ) or [ ] in file names / Exotic files types like .chm files. I couldn't copy one file with an exotic name. It included [ ] -> Error: No such file or directory. I couldn't move the .chm file -> Error: No such file or directory Very useful workflow. Thank for sharing.
  2. Flagged as not compatible (Alfred 2.5.1 308) Automatically check for pre-releases: checked.
  3. The workflow was not working (OS X Yosemite). I reinstalled the 1.11 version. Got the same error : Starting debug for 'Screenshots 1.11' [ERROR: alfred.workflow.input.scriptfilter] Code 1: 0:86: execution error: System Events got an error: Can’t get «class plif» "/Users/User/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/com.sztoltz.screenshots/settings.plist" of application "System Events". (-1728)
  4. @Andrew "Auto update is coming" great news! I think would be even better to have a version manager for workflows. Because Alfred lets me personalize my environment to such a degree (which is terrific) there are cases I think I might not want to have the latest version of a workflow. To me, a rvm/homebrew for Alfred workflows > an auto-updater for workflows. Can't wait! Exciting times ahead!
  5. Just try to untick then retick the setting. It worked for me. HTH
  6. Oh, yeah I tried to replace Safari by Google Chrome, but not by "Google Chrome". Now that I have added "", only 3 out the 7 urls are opened in Google Chrome. No Safari window is opened.
  7. I just tried the workaround. Google Chrome is my default browser. When fired, the workflow opens the specified urls in Google Chrome + Opens a new Safari window.
  8. +1. Was in the same situation as emai. Had to scroll all the pages of this thread + install the workflow a second time because the link in the first post was not updated. Gave me the opportunity to rediscover how this workflow is FANTASTIC
  9. I use a workflow to open 6 urls in in my default browser (Google Chrome). Yesterday and today I got a "You can’t open the application “Google Chrome.app” because it is not responding." error. Urls open in a cryptic way -> not in the way they used to ( = In the reverse order "Open Url" actions are added to the hotkey trigger when I created the workflow). Console message: [INFO: alfred.workflow.trigger.hotkey] Processing output 'alfred.workflow.action.openurl' with arg '' Configuration: Alfred 2.5.1 (308) OS X Yosemite (Had no problem with this workflow when I was using OS X Mountain Lion). Google Chrome 39.0
  10. Thank you! I just discovered Toggl yesterday and Toogl+Asana+Alfred look like a perfect combination!
  11. Very useful workflow! Thanks for sharing. Two feedbacks: - What are the two actions modifiers (alt/ctrl) supposed to do? - I typed "tgl timer" -> toogled fallback searches. And got this error: [ERROR: alfred.workflow.input.scriptfilter] Code 0: 2014/12/10 08:47:32 Using config file /Users/user/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/config.json 2014/12/10 08:47:32 Using cache file /Users/user/Library/Caches/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/cache.json 2014/12/10 08:47:32 loaded config: {ec6de4eadf2b2e243b4cc304e3b55751} 2014/12/10 08:47:32 loaded cache 2014/12/10 08:47:32 args: []string{"./alfred-toggl", "tell", ""} 2014/12/10 08:47:32 op: 'tell' 2014/12/10 08:47:32 kind: '' 2014/12/10 08:47:32 query: '' [ERROR: alfred.workflow.input.scriptfilter] Code 0: 2014/12/10 08:47:33 Using config file /Users/user/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/config.json 2014/12/10 08:47:33 Using cache file /Users/user/Library/Caches/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/cache.json 2014/12/10 08:47:33 loaded config: {ec6de4eadf2b2e243b4cc304e3b55751} 2014/12/10 08:47:33 loaded cache 2014/12/10 08:47:33 args: []string{"./alfred-toggl", "tell", "t"} 2014/12/10 08:47:33 op: 'tell' 2014/12/10 08:47:33 kind: 't' 2014/12/10 08:47:33 query: '' [ERROR: alfred.workflow.input.scriptfilter] Code 0: 2014/12/10 08:47:33 Using config file /Users/user/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/config.json 2014/12/10 08:47:33 Using cache file /Users/user/Library/Caches/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/cache.json 2014/12/10 08:47:33 loaded config: {ec6de4eadf2b2e243b4cc304e3b55751} 2014/12/10 08:47:33 loaded cache 2014/12/10 08:47:33 args: []string{"./alfred-toggl", "tell", "ti"} 2014/12/10 08:47:33 op: 'tell' 2014/12/10 08:47:33 kind: 'ti' 2014/12/10 08:47:33 query: '' [ERROR: alfred.workflow.input.scriptfilter] Code 0: 2014/12/10 08:47:33 Using config file /Users/user/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/config.json 2014/12/10 08:47:33 Using cache file /Users/user/Library/Caches/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/cache.json 2014/12/10 08:47:33 loaded config: {ec6de4eadf2b2e243b4cc304e3b55751} 2014/12/10 08:47:33 loaded cache 2014/12/10 08:47:33 args: []string{"./alfred-toggl", "tell", "tim"} 2014/12/10 08:47:33 op: 'tell' 2014/12/10 08:47:33 kind: 'tim' 2014/12/10 08:47:33 query: '' [ERROR: alfred.workflow.input.scriptfilter] Code 0: 2014/12/10 08:47:33 Using config file /Users/user/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/config.json 2014/12/10 08:47:33 Using cache file /Users/user/Library/Caches/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/cache.json 2014/12/10 08:47:33 loaded config: {ec6de4eadf2b2e243b4cc304e3b55751} 2014/12/10 08:47:33 loaded cache 2014/12/10 08:47:33 args: []string{"./alfred-toggl", "tell", "time"} 2014/12/10 08:47:33 op: 'tell' 2014/12/10 08:47:33 kind: 'time' 2014/12/10 08:47:33 query: '' [ERROR: alfred.workflow.input.scriptfilter] Code 2: 2014/12/10 08:47:33 Using config file /Users/user/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/config.json 2014/12/10 08:47:33 Using cache file /Users/user/Library/Caches/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-2/Workflow Data/com.jason0x43.alfred-toggl/cache.json 2014/12/10 08:47:33 loaded config: {ec6de4eadf2b2e243b4cc304e3b55751} 2014/12/10 08:47:33 loaded cache 2014/12/10 08:47:33 args: []string{"./alfred-toggl", "tell", "timer"} 2014/12/10 08:47:33 op: 'tell' 2014/12/10 08:47:33 kind: 'timer' 2014/12/10 08:47:33 query: '' panic: runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference [signal 0xb code=0x1 addr=0x0 pc=0x6d60] goroutine 16 [running]: runtime.panic(0x2e8880, 0x4d6284) /usr/local/Cellar/go/1.3.3/libexec/src/pkg/runtime/panic.c:279 +0xf5 main.TimerFilter.Items(0xc2080932b0, 0x6, 0x0, 0x0, 0xc208028ea0, 0x1, 0x1, 0x58aee8, 0xc20800fdd0) /Users/jason/Documents/Programming/go/src/github.com/jason0x43/alfred-toggl/main.go:425 +0x3390 main.TimerFilter.Items·i(0x0, 0xc2080932b0, 0x6, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0) <autogenerated>:18 +0x90 github.com/jason0x43/go-alfred.(*Workflow).Run(0xc20809fe00, 0xc2080b5e98, 0xb, 0xb) /Users/jason/Documents/Programming/go/src/github.com/jason0x43/go-alfred/main.go:135 +0xbd0 main.main() /Users/jason/Documents/Programming/go/src/github.com/jason0x43/alfred-toggl/main.go:75 +0xb7c goroutine 19 [finalizer wait]: runtime.park(0x27d20, 0x4d98b0, 0x4d8349) /usr/local/Cellar/go/1.3.3/libexec/src/pkg/runtime/proc.c:1369 +0x89 runtime.parkunlock(0x4d98b0, 0x4d8349) /usr/local/Cellar/go/1.3.3/libexec/src/pkg/runtime/proc.c:1385 +0x3b runfinq() /usr/local/Cellar/go/1.3.3/libexec/src/pkg/runtime/mgc0.c:2644 +0xcf runtime.goexit() /usr/local/Cellar/go/1.3.3/libexec/src/pkg/runtime/proc.c:1445 goroutine 17 [syscall]: runtime.goexit() /usr/local/Cellar/go/1.3.3/libexec/src/pkg/runtime/proc.c:1445
  12. Use case : - When you can't use the fallback searches because one or more file/folder of your system contains the first term of your query in Alfred. - When the first term of your query is the keyword of one of your workflow (ie. with the Dash workflow, every time I start my query with rails or javascript or html, Dash opens). Irritating. Feature request : I would like Alfred to only show the fallbacks searches when my query starts with a space. What do you think?
  13. Hey Ripcordian, Sorry for the late answer. Apparently I was not following the topic You are absolutely right! I sat Alfred up so that I can have up to 20 results. Many times, I get 10 results to the query I do and the result I want is the 6th. This is especially true with folders because I have many folders with close names. I also have quite a lot of fallback searches (6 or 7). You will easily understand that I often have to browse through the results Arrow keys are great but not always the best solution. Tab key seems to be better a better solution or at least a good alternative.
  14. Yes. http://www.packal.org/workflow/chrome-bookmarks Packal.org is always a good start when you are looking for a workflow you do not already have HTH.
  15. Cool. Didn't hear about that issue. I planned on a clean install (erase HD before installing Yosemite) so I shouldn't need to defrag. But thanks for the tip.
  16. I tried the workflow because on packal it says it is compatible with previous versions of OSX (ie 10.9)... I planned on installing Yosemite this week so, it is not such a big deal
  17. It looks like an awesome workflow. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it work. Got the error: Starting debug for 'Files - Copy/Move to' [INFO: alfred.workflow.trigger.action] Processing output 'alfred.workflow.action.script' with arg '( "NAME_OF_A_FILE_LOCATED_IN_THE_DOWNLOADS_FOLDER.pdf" )' [ERROR: alfred.workflow.action.script] Code 0: GetName.scpt: script error -1762. 18. Hi coderanger, I think a "copy to frontmost application" option would be great.
  19. Keyboard Maestro is a great app but the developer doesn't know how to copy the iTerm current directory to the clipboard... I wish there was an Keyboard Maestro action for it.
  20. It is working as advertised with Notification Center. The problem came from the fact I used Growl. Thank you.
  21. @iEnno Alright, so I've found the solution... with Keyboard Maestro. I just attached a keyboard shortcut to an insert text action. When I press Ctrl+T it writes "open -a 'Path Finder' ./" in iTerm and hit enter. Problem solved Thanks for your help.
