PLEASE VOTE: Your favourite workflows

Recommended Posts

Alfred v2 has now been available for a week, and you have created some truly amazing workflows. I'll be writing posts soon about the best workflows you've used, and would like your submissions.

Want to submit?

  1. Reply here with the name of the workflow and a link (to the forum thread or original site)
  2. If it already exists, use the "Like" button in the bottom right of the existing reply to add your vote

ADDED: You can absolutely vote for your own if it's a good quality workflow that's useful to others. :)

Tomorrow, I'll have a look at the list of favourites, count the votes and include these in my post. I'm looking for all levels of workflows, from simple to advanced, so submit away! :D

Also, I've highlighted ones here that need to be given some credit because they provide tools for workflow developers or are great examples of how to develop.

phyllisstein should get some cred for his python library: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/403-alp-a-python-workflow-module/
robhor should get some for showing us how to do drill-down menus: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/376-drill-down-menus-movie-search-omdb-api-alfred-repo/ (useful for people making more advanced workflows).
and, by extension, Olivier needs cred for the upcoming package manager (http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/829-apm-alfred-package-manager-need-testers/)
EggTimer from CarlosNZ — I don't use the EggTimer, but it needs to be highlighted as to how a very complex workflow could be made. (http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/275-eggtimer-v2-updated-to-beta4d/)

Also, I made a simple webs search shortcut for this forum, so I can constantly check out new workflows. A workflow to find new workflows would be pretty awesome.

I like Jonas' "Send URL" workflow a great deal: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/538-send-url/

isometry's SSH workflow is terrific as well: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/826-ssh-with-smart-hostname-autocompletion/

Someone named Robert Horvath made a Unicode symbol lookup workflow that I love but only ever existed on the short-lived AlfPT; if Robert is around, maybe he can post more information about it.

I'm partial to some of my own workflows, of course, but it'd feel a tad gauche to throw them into the running. (Though I use my Sublime Text ones more often than any others. Just sayin'!)
